What Closeeye is
Closeeye helps you stay close to the people you love when you are not beside them. You can record what matters, send voice letters and photos, ask questions about your family, and set up who should be reached if something urgent happens.
Closeeye is not a medical provider and not an emergency service. It does not send anyone to your family, and it cannot call an ambulance.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in secure and your family’s details accurate. One person, one account: signing in with the same Google account always returns you to the same Closeeye.
Someone you invite can join on their own phone using a code you read to them. That device is bound to your family space and can be disconnected at any time.
What you put into Closeeye
What you write, record and send stays yours. You give us permission to store it and to deliver it to the people you send it to, and nothing more. We do not sell it, publish it, or use it to advertise to you.
Please only add information about another person that you are entitled to share.
Membership
Closeeye offers one membership. What it costs and how it renews is shown on the membership screen before anything is confirmed, and nothing is charged until you confirm. Membership never gates emergency help, and never gates anything your family has already made.
Fair use
Please use Closeeye for its intended purpose, caring for your family. In an emergency always call 108, or your local emergency number, and your physician first.
Ending it
You can stop using Closeeye whenever you like, and delete your account and everything in it from inside the app. We may suspend an account that is being used to harm somebody.
Changes
We may update these terms as Closeeye grows. We will tell you about anything important in advance, in language you can actually read.
