Consent and Data Use

Last updated 14 August 2026.

Two permissions, asked separately, and either can be withdrawn at any time in You → Privacy and permissions.

Answering questions about your family

This permission lets Closeeye use what you have chosen to share so it can answer your questions with something grounded rather than generic. Without it, questions about your family are not answered.

Learning from voice letters

The voice letters you send can be written down and used to answer questions later. Turn this off if you want your voice letters delivered without being used for answers, they are still delivered either way.

They are separate on purpose

Agreeing to one is not agreeing to the other. Each is recorded with the date you decided, and turning one off stops it from that point on, it does not undo what has already been done.

Everyone answers for themselves

Someone using Closeeye on their own paired phone gives their own permissions from that phone. A family cannot answer on their behalf, and they cannot answer for the family.
